iciHaiti - DR : UASD rector receives Ambassador of Haiti

van Grullón Fernández, the Rector of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD), received in his office the Ambassador of the Republic of Haiti in the country, Idalbert Pierre Jean came to discuss possible academic agreements with the State University of Haiti (UEH).

Grullón Fernandez thanked the ambassador and his courteous visit to the UASD and his interest in the realization of an academic agreement, while providing support and cooperation to make it a reality.

For his part, Ambassador Pierre-Jean hoped that after this visit, an agreement with the UEH would be concluded, based on academic and cultural exchanges between the teachers and students of the two institutions.

Finally, he reiterated his gratitude to the UASD, which welcomes several hundred Haitian students who come to continue their university studies in this institution, thus contributing to the development of Haiti.
