On the sidelines of the Annual Meeting of the International Association of French-Speaking Mayors (AIMF) and of Congress of the World Cities of the World, which recently ended in Montreal, Quebec, the Mayor of Port-au-Prince, Ralph Youri Chevry took advantage of it to carry out numerous and fruitful bilateral meetings which proved very positive and promising for the City of Port-au-Prince among others on the problem of waste, environment and urban infrastructures of the capital of Haiti.

In addition to these many meetings, he had a very important meeting with the Mayor of Paris (President ai of the AIMF) Anne Hidalgo, during which they initiated the first negotiations to reach a tripartite agreement between the city of Paris, the city of Montreal and Port-au-Prince for the reconstruction of the City Hall of the capital, symbol of the municipal authority.
