iciHaiti - Politics : Crisis Committee at the National School of Applied Geology
Following the demands and demonstrations of the students of the National School of Applied Geology (ENGA) https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-20711-haiti-education-crisis-at-enga-the-ministry-proposes-solutions.html , Josué Agénor Cadet, the Minister of National Education and the Senator and Professor Patrice Dumont, formed a Crisis Committee at ENGA, in the framework of an agreement reached between all the parties concerned last June,

The purpose of this Committee is to work to find suitable premises for ENGA within a reasonable period of time, to relaunch administrative and academic activities, to take urgent measures to enable students to complete the first session in November-March, April-July and generally supervise the academic activities of the students until the beginning of 2017-2018.

Members of the Crisis Committee :
- Senator Patrice Dumont, Facilitator;
- Senator Francenet Dénius, facilitator;
- Geological engineer Claude Prépetit, facilitator;
- Lourdes Edith Joseph, Representative of the Minister;
- Adler Camilus, Representative of the Minister;
- Samuel Généa, Representative of ENGA teachers;
- New Santa Wathoo Mérisca, ENGA Student Representative;
- Onondo Fleury, ENGA Student Representative.

To this Committee must be added the Director of the ENGA who will be appointed by the Ministry shortly, in accordance with the standards of the Civil Service.
