iciHaiti - DR : Seizure of smuggled Haitian cigarettes

During a road check in the Loma de Cabrera municipality, the second largest city in the province of Dajabón (North-West), members of the Dominican Army arrested a car with a cargo of contraband cigarettes from Haiti.
According to information received, a white Honda car A670529, driven by Ramon Antonio Pérez Espinal, smuggled 200 cartridges of 10 packs of Point cigarettes (40,000 cigarettes).
The driver was arrested, the goods and the vehicle were handed over to the "General Benito Monción" base, where is tationed the 40th Infantry Brigade of the Army of Mao.
