The Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Public Health, in collaboration with the Office of the National Authorizing Officer (BONFED) and the Delegation of the European Union through the ESTP 2013 Program, held a workshop this week on "Agriculture of public health" at the Hotel Montana.

This workshop consisted of putting into context the situation of food and nutrition security (in direct response to malnutrition in Haiti), through an inventory of species with high nutritional potential by department, programs and agricultural productions, and finally, to the proposal of a sustainable solution by the integration of a new concept "Agriculture - Nutrition".
