iciHaiti - USA : Departures of Youth Ambassadors 2017

On Tuesday, a mixed group of girls and boys, aged between 15 and 18, from various parts of Haiti, left the country to participate in the Youth Ambassadors 2017 program. Their three week long program in the United States is organized by Global Potential under the auspices of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.

During this program, Haitians and Americans will have the opportunity to gain critical knowledge, as well as skills and competences that will enable them to interact positively and powerfully with our global community. Importantly, the program will reinforce leadership capacity.

International exchanges can foster deep personal growth, the development of individual and group leadership skills and a lifelong commitment to civic engagement and global citizenship.

The Office of Public Diplomacy wishes them good luck on their new adventure !
