As part of the International Saturdays of the Village at Pied-du-Courant, a meeting was held at the Consulate General of Haiti in Montreal to plan the second participation of Haiti in this Great cultural event that will take place on Saturday 19 August 2017. The theme chosen by the organizers this year is "Ayiti Bon Bagay".

Participants in discussions included: Village Program Managers at Pied-du-Courant, Maxime Bragoli and Mrs. Gaël Aguiar and Consul General of Haiti in Montreal Justin Viard.

Haiti's participation in this event will allow the Montreal community to better discover and understand the Haitian culture and to Haitians in the Diaspora to project a positive image of Haiti to encourage Quebecers to visit our Haiti Chéri more.
