iciHaiti - Security : Signature of a project with the Spanish Cooperation

Aviol Fleurant, Minister of Planning and Carmen Rodriguez Arce, the outgoing Coordinator of the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) and his successor, Manuel Alba, participated in the signing ceremony https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-21546-haiti-news-zapping.html of the "Project to support the integration of risk prevention into planning documents and the resilience of territories in Haiti".
This project, which aims to reduce the risks and improve the resilience of the territories in Haiti, is of capital importance for the country. The risk, recalls the owner of the MPCE, is associated with the development of Haiti. Thus, the Strategic Plan for Sustainable Development of Haiti (PSDH) focuses on risk management (seismic and cyclonic). The Annual Operational Plan responds to this objective and thus demonstrates the spirit of solidarity in a perspective of sustainable development involving stakeholders at both the national and regional levels. It should be noted that this project brings a new breath in the reflections on risk integration methodologies in planning in Haiti.
