iciHaiti - Politics : The Parliamentary Front Against Hunger in Barbados 23/07/2017 08:02:46
This conference was organized with the financial support of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and brought together Members of Parliament from 14 member countries of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM). It will serve as a forum for dialogue and reflection to analyze the priority food security and nutritional problems of countries based on existing data, the particularities of the Caribbean subregion and the best national and subregional mechanisms, to makes advance the legislation, policy and advocacy in the field. After its exchange visit, from 12 to 15 July 2017 in Santo Domingo, the Parliamentary Front against Hunger in the Dominican Republic (FPF-RD), the Parliamentary Front against Hunger in Haiti (FPFH) will have once the opportunity to learn about the experiences of other Parliamentary Fronts against Hunger in the Caribbean subregion.
