Haiti - Security : Haiti voted the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons 27/07/2017 10:20:54
These countries understood the humanitarian sense of the initiative and participated actively in the negotiating conference with a constructive spirit and of responsibility in order to fill an unacceptable legal vacuum in the field of disarmament. However, none of the 6 countries declared nuclear weapons holders: the United States, Russia, France, the United Kingdom, China and India, to which are added the undeclared states : Pakistan, Israel and North Korea signed this treaty giving them by their absences, a purely symbolic scope, since this treaty applies only to the signatory countries and will not eliminate the arsenal of mass destruction of some 15,000 nuclear warheads that threatens our civilization.
