Haiti - China : End of mandate in Haiti of Ling Jun

Aviol Fleurant, the Minister of Planning received this week a a courtesy visit from Ling Jun, the Permanent Representative of the Business Development Bureau of the People's Republic of China in Haiti, before his departure at the end of his term of office in late August.

During their meeting , Ling Jun reiterated the interest of the People's Republic of China to cooperate with the Haitian government in a mutually beneficial policy. He informed that he has worked with the heads of the investment Facilitation Center (CFI) on a guide that would allow Chinese investors to better explore the windows of opportunity in Haiti.

Minister Fleurant, for his part, welcomed the work done by Ling Jun in Haiti over the last two years. He said that today Haiti has a duty to make a choice between assistantship and development, stressing that the Republic of China is not only a worthy cooperant but also a friend.
