iciHaiti - Education : Workshop on Back-to-School

Thursday, at the Project Coordination Unit of the Ministry of Education, to two weeks of the ew academic year, was weld an important working session on the new school year with technical and departmental directors of the Ministry.
At a meeting chaired by Meniol Jeune, the Director General of the Ministry, the main actions and measures announced for the beginning of the school year were tackled in order to allow each actor to play well his score for the success of the academic year 2017-2018. The improvement of learning and the governance of the education system were at the center of exchanges, notably the question of school accreditation, the management of school time and school calendar, the management of public schools etc...
Several measures adopted by ministerial circular notably the fixing of school fees in public schools to 1,000 gourdes for the 3rd cycle of the fundamental and the secondary https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-21821-haiti-flash-readjustment-of-school-fees-in-public-schools.html were also on the agenda.
