iciHaiti - Politics : Modernization of Human Resources Directorates

The Office of Management and Human Resources (OMRH), organized a training and information session for senior staff of the Ministry of Tourism around the mechanisms for modernization and strengthening of the Human Resources (HR) Directorates of the Haitian Public Service. The training was led by Chrystel Gaborio, a French expert from OMRH and other senior staff.
Andy Durosier, the Director General of the Ministry, reviewed some key and unavoidable notions for HRDs. Highlighting the importance of forecasting the workforce, jobs and skills that form the backdrop for the work of HRDs.
It should be noted that the Ministry of Tourism (MDT) was selected as one of the pilot ministries, due to the rapid application of the procedures and its size. In addition to the MDT, the Primature, OMRH and the Ministries of Culture and Environment were the only ministries and autonomous bodies selected for this pilot project.
