iciHaiti - Security: UDMO, graduation of the 7th Promotion

After more than 5 months of training, 225 officers of the Departmental Unit for Maintaining Order (UDMO) including 13 women, are now ready to serve the country.

The graduation ceremony of this 7th promotion of this Unit of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) specialized among others in the maintaining of the order in the major events and demonstrations took place in the presence of Michel-Ange Gédéon, the Director General of the PNH and several senior police officers.

This increase in the numbers of UDMOs is welcome to face the challenges that await them, after the departure of the Minustah scheduled for mid-October 2017.
