iciHaiti - Gonaïves : Rehabilitation works on the canal's head

Thursday morning took place the ceremony of handing over of the project of rehabilitation of the head of the canal in Dubedou in the department of Artibonite, Gonaïves.

Funded to the tune of US$200,000 by the Community Violence Reduction Section of the Minustah this project, which aimed to improve the living conditions of the vulnerable planters of the department, made it possible, inter alia, during the 6 months that the work lasted to create 2,850 temporary jobs.

This work was carried out by the Association of Peasants of Dubedou in collaboration with the Town Hall of Gonaïves and the Ministry of Public Works.
