Haiti - Politics : Twinning of Saint-Louis du Nord with North Miami

On the sidelines of the celebration of the Patron Saint, Saint Louis King of France, Estima Gaston the mayor of Saint Louis du Nord nd the Mayor of the American city of North Miami, Dr. Smith Smith Joseph signed a memorandum of understanding of twinning Between the two cities.
The ceremony was attended by Minister Stéphanie Auguste (Haitians Living Abroad), Max R. Saint Albin (Interior), Pierre Josué Agénor Cadet (Education) of several parliamentarians of Northwest, members of the diaspora and several notables of the region.
n her speech, Minister Auguste welcomed the presence of members of the diaspora and invited them to integrate into Haitian life by the passing of their knowledge to the youth, by investing in the country, and redoubling efforts to interest their children in visiting Haiti and to keep the links with their roots.
