iciHaiti - Léogâne : Moïse in inspection of the clearing of the river Momance

Saturday, President Moïse, accompanied by Agronomist Carmel André Béliard, Minister of Agriculture and Member of Parliament for Léogâne, Jean Wilson Hypolite, visited the locality of Fayette in Léogâne to discuss with the population, on the state of degradation of the banks of the Momance River and the measures taken by the government to take concrete actions in the days to come, in order to reduce the vulnerability face the bad weather of the plain of Léogâne.
The Head of State also took the opportunity to inquire about the state of progress of the clearing works launched upstream of the Momance River in order to better deal with the hurricane season "Out of the 284 rivers of the country, the Momance will receive special treatment throughout my five-year term," promised Moïse.
