iciHaiti - IRMA : MJSAC calls on young people to mobilize
At the approach of the passage of IRMA Category 5 hurricane, the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Civic Action (MJSAC) endorsed the efforts of the Government in mobilizing its technical staff to deal with possible damage that could cause IRMA in Haiti.

More than 1,000 civic action brigadiers, 250 of them in the Great North have already been mobilized to provide first aid, rescue potential victims, accompany civil protection and other State structures involved in emergency operations .

More than 100 multipliers agents, specializing in risk management have been asked to work with local communities to help them cope with the passage of IRMA. The technicians and called of civic service of the departmental directorates were invited to engage with the bodies concerned in order to facilitate effective interventions for the benefit of the population.

The Ministry of Youth urges young people to remain vigilant and calls on youth associations and networks across the country to join in the actions undertaken by the State to minimize the damage that could be caused by the passage of Irma into helping communities to overcome this hardship and the victims to cross with dignity this period which is going to be difficult.
