iciHaiti - Demonstrations : The Collective of 4 December condemns the violence

While acknowledging in a note the just demands of the people and the right of everyone to express themselves freely and to defend their rights, "The Collective of 4 December 2013 vehemently condemns acts of violence, barbarity and injustice, perpetrated by angry demonstrators during the day of Tuesday, September 12th.
[...] The protection of the property of every citizen must be guaranteed and respected. It is unacceptable that anarchy prevails among us, that overexcited invest the streets, attack peaceful citizens and destroy their property. We disapprove these behaviors and invite these demonstrators to pull themselves together. These destructive acts will not contribute to the economic recovery and development of the country to which we all aspire."
