On Friday during a ballot held at the Court of First Instance of Petit-Goâve, the lawyers of the court re-elected for a second two-year term, the outgoing Council headed by Me Alcide Laguerre. The lawyers felt that this council had a positive record and that it had fulfilled its tasks.

The young Barrister Me Alcide Laguerre was re-elected as head of the Petit-Goâve bar for a second two-year term. Proud of his re-election, Me Alcide Laguerre declared that he will go to war against the corruption that prevails in the Procuracy of Petit-Goâve and that he will sanction all the lawyers of the bar convicted of corruption or involved in cases of corruption practiced in complicity with the Commissioner of the Government or the Commissioner substitutes.
