iciHaiti - Environment : More than 100 civil servants trained in eco-citizenship
Pierre Simon Georges, Minister of the Environment, recently handed over certificates to more than 100 employees of his Ministry following a series of training sessions on the environment and eco-citizenship.

As a result of this training cycle, these employees are better equipped to educate the public about the best behavior to protect the environment.

In his speech, the Minister called for the promotion of education and environmental awareness throughout the country. "The current severe ecological crisis requires a national consciousness to hope for a recovery of the environmental situation," added the Minister.

To this end, executievs and employees of the Ministry will be deployed in the 10 departments and in the Communes, with a view to raising public awareness of its role in protecting the environment.
