Saturday, Stéphanie Auguste, the new Minister of Social Affairs https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-22121-haiti-politics-installation-of-stephanie-auguste-at-the-ministry-of-social-affairs.html visited the Carrefour and Delmas 3 reception centers to inquire about the state of operation of these establishments designed to take care of children in difficult situations.

In these two Centers, the Minister has delivered foods for one month in order to allow the children to eat in a suitable way.

It has also made arrangements to facilitate the operation of the bakery at the Delmas 3 Reception Center. Note that it is the children of the center, trained by the NGO ACF, who run this bakery.

In addition, while ensuring that vocational training is part of the daily lives of these young people, Minister Auguste announced that drinking water, which has not existed for more than five years in these structures, will be available at the taps of both Centers.
