iciHaiti - Agriculture : Evaluation at the Ministry on the eve of new budget

This week, Carmel André Béliard, Minister of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Rural Development, accompanied by its Director General, Branly Eugène, met with senior officials from the Ministry. "At the end of this fiscal year, the need for an evaluation of the various agencies of the Ministry is necessary," the Minister said. The meeting covered inter alia the operating budget, the preparation of an annual balance sheet and the inventory of State assets.

The Departmental Agricultural Directors presented an overall assessment of their achievements during the year of exercise and submitted a few grievances to the Minister and to the Office of the Director General for a better return during the next fiscal year that begins on October 1st.

Minister Beliard reminded the participants of their mission to put the country on the path of sustainable change through agriculture according to the wishes of the Head of State.
