This week at the El Rancho hotel was held the launch of the 5th edition of the Haiti Fashion Week 2017. 40 designers from the United States, France, Belgium, the African Continent of the Caribbean and the Dominican Republic will unveil their Spring-Summer 2018 collections from 2 to 5 November 2017 around the theme "Fashion and innovation" .

This week at the El Rancho hotel, the 5th edition of the "Haiti Fashion Week 2017" was held the launch in front of a public made up of models, stylists, managers of fashion companies in Haiti and members of the media.

"Following in the footsteps of the 'Fashion Week Mode' "which has taken place over the last ten years, 'Haiti Fashion Week 2017', will put the 'Made in Haiti' in the spotlight, with the aim of having Haitian know-how recognized sewing and haute couture on the international scene and attract the Haitian consumer to the countries and the diaspora," said Michel Chataigne, the Event Coordinator.

Supported by the Ministry of Tourism, since its creation in 2012, the Haiti Fashion Week is an international event of fashion, essential in strengthening the universe of fashion in Haiti.
