iciHaiti - Environment : The NGO Tree Angels for Haiti reaches out to the Ministry

Pierre Simon Georges, the Minister of Environment recently met a delegation from the NGO Tree Angels for Haiti; an organization based in Léogâne, working in the environmental sector.
This meeting, which was attended by Mrs. Sonia Orisme, Director of the Department of the West, and Mrs. Sandra Romulus, the Coordinator of Tree Angels For Haiti wanted to be a first contact with a view to considering a Protocol agreement on the reforestation of the national territory.
Faced with the environmental challenges, the Léogâne Organization wishes to contribute to the state's reforestation, recalling that the production of seedlings and their survival remained the main actions to achieve this goal.
Minister Georges expressed his support for this initiative and confirmed his ministry's support in all interventions aimed at protecting and rehabilitating the Haitian environment.
