iciHaiti - Léogâne : The Embassy of Canada in the fight against gender violence

In a note, the Embassy of Canada says it is proud to partner with the organization GRAHDEL to support girls and women victims of violence through our Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI).
The objective of the project is to provide an integrated response to the issue of gender-based violence at the level of the commune of Léogâne through a socio-educational, multisector and participatory accompaniment of various state actors and civil society.
Girls and women victims of violence in the locality of Léogâne and its three main communal sections will be accompanied by GRAHDEL agents and referred to relevant partners. The project will also address the prevention of gender-based violence and the promotion of human rights.
