Mondat at the Community Development Centre, located Delmas 40B, the J/P Haitian Relief Organization of the American actor Sean Penn held the ceremony to launch Phase 4 of its "Music as a Second Language" project.

This school music promotion project aims to help the six partner schools meet the Ministry of National Education's requirements for music education while providing young people with a healthy and hopeful after-school activity to contribute to their personal development.

Let's recall that it's in 2010, J/P HRO founded "the School of Hope" to promote a unique model of inclusion, performance and individual development for students and teachers. In 2014, J/P HRO -with the financial and strategic support of Music Heals International and the technical supervision of Little Kids Rock- introduced music teaching to its students and then extended the experience to 300 students from six different schools in Delmas municipality.

Young musicians also benefit from studio recording sessions and public concerts with the generous support of prominent artists such as Alan Cavé, Mikaben and Jean Jean Roosevelt.
