iciHaiti - Education : Training seminar for 180 Spanish teachers
A training seminar for 180 Spanish teachers from the 10 Departmental Directorates of Education (DDE), was launched Monday at the Lycée Alexandre Pétion, at a ceremony presided by Pierre Josué Agénor Cadet, Minister of Education together with the Spanish Ambassador to Haiti, Don Manuel Lorenzo.

This training, designed to improve the quality of classroom learning, will initially reach 90 teachers of Spanish from the West, from 23 to 25 October and from 26 to 28 October, a second session will be held for 90 students. teachers from the other 9 DDEs.

This activity is supported by the Spanish Cooperation which provides technical and financial assistance. Indeed, the training is led by professionals from the Cervantes Institute, the most important institution in Spain for the dissemination and promotion of the Spanish language. It is an action that fits into the dynamics of teacher training to improve the quality of learning.

It will eventually allow the beneficiaries to improve their teaching techniques of Spanish, said the Minister Cadet , which specifies, moreover, that the most advanced techniques of pedagogy will be used as well as the use of online resources and new technologies for the animation of this seminar.

For his part, the Ambassador of Spain welcomed and congratulated Minister Cadet for this initiative, which received his full support.
