iciHaiti - NOTICE : Food kits resold

The Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES) informs the public that the food kits distributed under the "Kore Pep" program are not intended for resale. They are offered free of charge by the Government to help vulnerable sections of the population.

FAES calls on the unconditional vigilance of every citizen to respect this principle in order to denounce any offender to police and judicial authorities, whom will take the measures provided by the law.

Recall that these kits can contain various food for several days among others: rice, but, peas, oil, salt, dough, tomato paste etc... It is likely that for lack of income, some people despite hunger, do not hesitate to resell some of this food to get some gourdes... unless the FAES is a victim of false beneficiaries who find there a way to easily take advantage of the situation...
