On Thursday, President Jovenel Moïse, accompanied by the Deputy Louis Romel Beaugé (Maïssade) of the Departmental delegate of the Center, Mrs. Marie Denise Bernado and local elected officials, went to the commune of Maïssade to assess the progress of some projects started by his administration, in this commune of Central Plateau.

Regarding the construction of the road connecting the city of Maïssade to the locality "Madame Joie" the Head of State encouraged technicians to work hard to improve the transport conditions of the population very quickly.

In addition, the Head of State noted the state of disrepair of the irrigation system of "Basin Cave" and promised to pass instructions for the rehabilitation of this infrastructure for the benefit of the owners of about 300 hectares...

In addition, the President said he was satisfied with the work of damming of the river Rio Frio, made at the entrance of the city which should in the future, avoid the floods of the city of Maïssade.

On the sidelines of this site tour, President Moïse met with local elected officials ASEC, CASEC, City Delegates, and Mayors, on the problems facing the commune.
