The Lorquet Foundation for a New Haiti (FOLONHA), welcomes the committee of the Youth Flambeau of Hope (JEFE) of the Christian Evangelical Church of Lizon (Bon-Repos, Cul-de-Sac Plain), which will organize on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, a book day on the theme "The human being and the book, an endless communion". This book fair, which will be held from 10 am to 2 pm will be marked by the participation of several personalities of the country as the Deputy Jerry Tardieu, Dr. Hérold Toussaint, the academic Joël Lorquet, the writer Martine Fidèle and cartoonist Teddy Kesser Mombrun.

According to the organizers, this book fair aims to promote Haitian literature and also to make books more accessible to children and young people from the different neighborhoods of the Cul-de-Sac plain and to encourage them to experiment healthy, constructive leisure activities, enriching intellectually and thus avoiding unhealthy activities...

For the Lorquet Foundation and Imprimerie Media Texte, which support this activity, the future passes through the young people who constitute the future of the book.
