iciHaiti - Tourism : Launch of a Canadian project

Carlos Rojas-Arbulú, the Head of Canadian Cooperation, participated in the launching ceremony of a Canadian project in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of National Education and the National Institute of Vocational Training (INFP) .

This project is intended to help foster the hiring of a qualified workforce trained by educational institutions in the hospitality and tourism sectors. It will benefit young people, women and people with disabilities in the regions of Port-au-Prince and Cap-Haïtien.

The contribution of Cégep Saint-Jérôme, International Education in Quebec and its local partners, as well as the Haitian Government echo the objectives of Canada's new international feminist aid policy.
