"Gender Equality" was the theme of the training given to the hotel Le Plaza, by the Haiti-Canada Municipal Cooperation Program, to the employees of the Port-au-Prince Town Hall.

In order to make real one of the fundamental human rights principles of equality between men and women real, the Municipal Administration of Port-au-Prince had invited its executives to this training, in order to better involve its human resources in the institutional struggle for gender equality.

Remember that the City of Port-au-Prince is already engaged in this fight, because there are many women working there, and many are those in positions of decision-making, planning and management.

However, the Administration is aware of the challenges and difficulties to overcome and is ready to make this ideal a reality.
