In Port-de-Paix (Northwest) preparations for the great celebration of the immaculate Conception to be held on December 8, are going well.

All the institutions involved are committing to celebrate in a brighter way this year. Many activities are being prepared.

Thus, the Departmental Delegation, under the aegis of Jovenel Moïse, has already started on this occasion 3 works :

- Rehabilitation of the roof and cleaning of the Iron market;

- The concreting of streets including a part of the Rue Notre-Dame (from Place Cappoix to end near the cathedral) and part of Rue Stenio Vincent (from Place Cappoix to the bridge of the river of Port-de-Paix;

- The cleaning of the river of Port de Paix.

It should be noted that these works, which are supposed to be completed before the first week of December, are not the only ones that the Government plans to carry out for the inhabitants of the commune of Port de Paix, on the occasion of these festivities.
