Thursday at the Court of Cassation, the National Committee for the Advancement of Justice was officially installed.

Heidi Fortuné, the Minister of Justice, Me Jules Cantave, President of the Court of Cassation and the Superior Council of the Judiciary (CSPJ) and Senator Jean Renel Sénatus, President of the Senate Committee "Justice, Security and Defense" are intervened to insist on the importance of this new structure, which wants to synergize with the public authorities in the fight against the various scourges which gnaw the judicial system, including corruption and prolonged pretrial detention.
