The Ministry of Culture is deeply dismayed by the news of the death on Sunday, November 19th, of Pascal Antoine Bien-Aimé, brother of the servant of Lakou Souvenance.

"It is with great emotion that Limond Toussaint, the Minister of Culture has learned this sad news. Pascal Bien-Aimé was a servant and loyal adviser of this high place of voodoo religious tradition. He has always vigorously defended ancestral values and his departure is a considerable loss for our culture, especially for the Voodoo religion.

In this painful circumstance, Minister Limond Toussaint bows to the remains of this major figure of Haitian voodoo and presents his sincere regrets to the servant Fernand Bien-Aimé, to the family Bien-Aimé and members of Lakou Souvenance."
