Earlier this week, Youri Chevry the Mayor of Port-au-Prince organized a working session with Stéphanie Auguste, the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, also acting Minister of Haitians Living Abroad.

The agenda focused on the situation of the elderly in the communal asylum of Port-au-Prince as well as on various other joint projects between the Town Hall and the Ministry of Social Affairs and the MHAVE.

At the end of the session, the two leaders were satisfied and committed to working together for the realization of various joint projects which they will soon announce.
