Régine Lamur, the Minister of Youth has learned with a sense of pride the exploit realized by Richard Joseph (40) a migrant Haitian emigrated to Chile for 3 years, which saved the life of a suicidal woman, who had just jumped from the 9th floor of a building of the municipality of Independencia in the zone metropolitan of Santiago, receiving her in his arms.

Following this incredible rescue Richard Joseph suffered multiple bruises and a right leg injury. The philanthropist Leonardo Farkas reacting to this news immediately announced that he took care of all the medical care of this Haitian bricklayer passed from anonymity to hero in the Chilean media, for saving a Chilean citizen.

For Minister Lamur "this gesture of Richard Joseph deserves our great admiration.
