The General Coordination of the National Conference of Libraries informs that the new dates of the National Conference originally scheduled for December 1, 2 and 3, 2017 are now January 26, 27 & 28, 2018 at Quisqueya University (UniQ), located in Turgeau, Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

This event of national interest is particularly aimed at all librarians, documentalists, archivists and professionals in the field of information and cultural sciences, local elected officials, political decision-makers and government representatives, leaders and representatives of local and international development organizations, students, teachers, principals and university officials, etc...

This is the largest professional summit in Haiti, which brings together each year all key players and determinants of national life around the structural issue of the library sector and services offered to the public in relation to the crucial need of the population in matters of access to information, knowledge and culture.
