Léon Ronsard Saint-Cyr, Secretary of State for Public Security at the head of a delegation, participated in the Dominican Republic at the 7th Inter-Caribbean Dialoguefor a better cooperation in security matters.

The goal of this summit was :

- Strengthening the commitments already made by Member States at the highest level;

- The formulation of new strategies to implement the provisions adopted by the "Joint Caribbean-US, Security Cooperation Partnership and Declaration of Principles";

- To provide greater support to national agencies;

- The improvement of international and interconstitutional cooperation.
