iciHaiti - InterReg Caribbean : 2 partnerships with Haiti validated

This week in Cayenne, as part of the "InterReg Caribbean 2014-2020" Program https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-22962-haiti-politic-regional-cooperation-3-projects-in-partnership-with-haiti.html 2 partnership projects have been validated with Haiti, these are :

Project RECAVACA carried by the Association Guadeloupe Fair and Sustainable (AGED) : Accompany Guadeloupe and Haitian cocoa growers with the CACCOMA Cooperative to enable them to increase the volume of their production, improve their control of cultivation techniques, for a fair labeling of products in view of their sale on a high-end niche market.

PREST project, supported by the Seismological and Volcanological Observatory of Martinique : Creation of an Earth / Sea geophysical observatory with the Bureau of Mines and Energy and the University of Haiti, monitoring equipment, data acquisition and modeling to better understand natural hazards.
