Sunday, December 24, several hundred Archelois gathered in the evening on the Place Dessalines of the City of the flag to take part in the closing ceremony of the 2nd edition of the contest "Christmas Solidarity" an initiative of the Mayor of Arcahaie with the support among others from the Ministry of the Interior and Territorial Communities.

At the end of this contest, Peterson Gaspar, First Prize of the contest, one of the 5 finalists left with a brand new car ! The other participants received various other awards such as travel, a motorcycle, an amplifier, a latest-generation mobile phone and laptops.

To the great satisfaction of the audience of Archelois of all ages and guests from Port-au-Prince and surrounding areas, various groups and artists like Renette Désir animated the evening which ended with fireworks at midnight.
