iciHaiti - Security : Inauguration of 4 police stations in Artibonite
Earlier this week in Desdunes, Michel-Ange Gédéon, the Director General of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) and his counterpart of Minujusth symbolically inaugurated the police stations of Verettes, Boccozèle, Marmelade and Petite Rivière de l'Artibonite financed by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) for 21 million Gourdes and designed by the Minujust technical service engineers in collaboration with the engineers of the infrastructure department of the PNH.

In his special address Michel-Ange Gédéon declared "[...] Today, it is with happiness that I ask the police officers to occupy the places and to put themselves better than yesterday, at the ervice of the inhabitants of Desdunes, Verettes, Marmalade, Petite Rivière and Boccozèle.

Police officers from these localities, of all ranks,

These buildings will be your workplace, but they will also be a symbol of the PNH, a symbol of the State of Haiti, which is above all, our greatest common good. Keep them clean and well maintained. This will be your image, the visible part of the PNH [...]

I rely on you. Thank you !"
