iciHaiti - Health : First Forum on Digital Health in Haiti
A delegation from the Lorquet Foundation for a New Haiti (FOLONHA) participated in the Center for Reading and Cultural Animation of Saint-Marc, to the the first communal forum on digital health in Haiti, supported by the Lorquet Foundation and the Esther Boucicault Foundation.

A delegation from the Lorquet Foundation for a New Haiti (FOLONHA) participated in the Center for Reading and Cultural Animation of Saint-Marc, the first communal forum on digital health in Haiti, supported by the Lorquet Foundation and the Esther Boucicault Foundation .

This Forum organized by the committee of ESCULAPE Grouped under the label of LASWENYAY which took place around the theme "Radiography of telemedicine in Haiti" allowed the participants: experts, influential personalities, partners, professionals, students and young creators of to be sensitized by the telemedicine and also to reflect on the stakes and the perspectives of development of the Digital Health in Haiti.

According to Dr. Jeeph Sergilles, LASWENYAY Director General "Digital health is the shortest and safest way to meet the challenges facing the health sector in Haiti and to have a better quality of service." He argues that the reorganization of the current health system is essential to overcome major shortcomings, such as the lack of medical specialists in remote areas, which is even leading to loss of life, or evenb the centralization of access to care in Port-au-Prince.
