After a long process of exchanges between the actors of the education system and technicians of the Training and Development Directorate of the Ministry of National Education, Minister Pierre Josué Agénor Cadet recently launched the works of the Validation Workshop of documents of National training policy for teachers and supervisory staff and of the Implementation Plan which brought together nearly 150 people: technical and departmental directors, technical and financial partners, consultants and social partners.

The support of Canadian and Unesco cooperation has been instrumental in the finalization of these important documents for the reform of the education sector, particularly for the improvement of classroom learning, the Minister Cadet recalled, stressing that "better teachers will be trained and better learners will be well educated" an important issue, more than 150,000 teachers are to be trained at all levels of the education system.

The Head of Canadian Cooperation in Haiti spoke at the opening of the workshop of the Canadian government's pride in funding this project that only aims to improve the quality of education and wished that these documents be really implemented for the renewal of the Haitian education sector
