iciHaiti - Politic : Literacy of the prisoners of the prison of Fort-Liberté

This week at the new prison of Fort Liberté, Émile Brutus the Secretary of State for Literacy has launched the literacy program "Konbit Alpha", which will 127 prisoners to learn to read and write in order to facilitate their reintegration into society at the end of their detention sentence.
According to Secretary of State Brutus, 6,000 of the 12,000 piled up in prisons in Haiti are illiterate.
Let's recall that the "Konbit Alpha" program, launched in September 2016, aims to reduce the number of illiterates in Haiti estimated in 2015 to 4.5 million people.
