The Association for the Empowerment of Women with Reduced Mobility (AAFHAMR), with the support of the Embassy of France in Haiti, is launching a new capacity building project for women with reduced mobility in Port-au-Prince.

The project aims to combat the financial exclusion of women and girls living with a disability and help them gradually reintegrate the various spheres of activity of the social and economic life of Haiti.

The project consists of training nearly 40 women and girls with reduced mobility in several areas of socio-professional income-generating activities and to enable them to support themselves and their families.

1- Training in cell phone troubleshooting;

2- Training in sewing, macramé, shoemaking and handicraft production (belt, sandals, suitcase);

3- Training in business plan editing and awareness to business creation.

The selected beneficiaries will have the opportunity to launch their own activities to develop their business plan to better position themselves on the market thanks to the technical support of the coordination team put at their disposal.
