As part of the project «Port-de-Paix First» (Port-de-Paix d’abord) launched by the municipality, Mayor Josue Alusma, accompanied by his Communications Advisor Herby Woolff Mortimer met on February 18 with yhe Senator of North West Onondieu Louis (KID).

Priority projects for the development of the municipality were discussed. The Senator Onondieu Louis acknowledged that the various projects of the municipality must obligatorily pass through the town hall and he asks that the departmental delegation, the decentralized ministries such as Public Works, Social Affairs, Youth, Education among others, to work with the municipality.

In addition, Mayor Alusma and Senator Onodieu Louis have agreed on a memorandum of understanding for a renewal of Port-de-Paix and are firmly convinced that their alliance will allow them to amplify their efforts to raise the city.
