iciHaiti - FLASH : Attack against the mayor of Thomassique

Monday around midnight in Boc Banique, second communal section, the mayor of Thomassique Wilma François, was victim of an attack while he went to the Dominican Republic.
An unidentified individual fired on the elected head and his safety officer who was hit in the spine. Rushed to the Saint-Joseph Thomassique clinic the health situation of the mayor is stable according to doctors. His bodyguard was transferred urgently to Sainte-Thérèse Hospital in Hinche where his vital prognosis is not engaged.
Mackynel François, spokesman for Mayor François assures to hold important information that will be forwarded to the police in order to get their hands on the perpetrator(s) of this attack.
