Continuing migration screening operations throughout the country, the Directorate General of Migration (DGM) with the support of the military personnel of the Dominican army and in coordination with the Public Prosecutor's Office of the province of Santa Cruz de El Seibo controlled 281 Haitians in communities La Mina, La Colonia, La Sabana, Vicentillo, El Seibo, la Villa Guerrero, La Higuera, Santa Lucia, Batey 8 and Batey 106.

These migratory control operations were carried out after intelligence work carried out in the province (denunciation by the population), which made it possible to locate the Haitians.

Of the 281 compatriots checked, 84 men and 4 women who did not have documents were expelled by the border post of Dajabón, while 4 others were taken to the Investigations Department of the DGM.

Controls continue in other provinces of the national territory.
